Our Journey - From Dreams to Reality
In 2018, our journey began with a dream to make an impact in the world through art and craft. Our team of dedicated designers, already experts in the field of art, had a vision to create something extraordinary. These talented individuals had worked on various great projects, and their artwork could often be witnessed in metro stations and prestigious art galleries. With such a rich background, we knew we had the right foundation to embark on our creative venture.
We started our journey with a YouTube channel showcasing our art through 3D models, sculptures and cinematics. Our aim was to share our passion with the world, but we faced massive setbacks in this venture. We suffered a loss of around 50 lakhs in this venture. Despite the setback, our spirit remained undeterred. 2020
Shifted Gears- The Move to 2D Animation
By 2020, we realised it was time for a change in strategy. We shifted our focus to 2D Animation and created a new YouTube channel dedicated to horror stories. All the stories in the videos were represented with animation, which made them more interesting to the users. Our horror animation channel became a huge hit, and by 2021, we gained around 2 million subscribers. The success was exhilarating and pushed us to strive for more.

With a successful YouTube channel and deep knowledge of both 2D and 3D animation, we began to ponder our next big move. That’s how the idea of the Artarium was born - why not bring the design and characters we created on our YouTube channel videos to life as tangible products?

Research and Development
From our early experiences, we have learned that thorough research is crucial before embarking on a new idea. Our founders have always believed in the power of teamwork and often reiterated the famous quote of Thomas Alwa Edison: "I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work." This mindset has been especially important, as we faced a major setback at the start of our journey. Their guidance on paying proper attention to research at every step was invaluable.
So the first six months of 2022, we dedicated ourselves to extensive research, knowing that it would lay the foundation for our success. One of our first challenges was deciding on the material for crafting our products. We explored various options, including Resin, Epoxy resin, and metal. After evaluation, we chose Resin for its durability, strength, and glossy finish, which aligned perfectly with our vision for high-quality products.
Our commitment to quality did not stop at material selection. We also integrated modern 3D printing techniques such as FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling), SLA (Stereolithography), and DLP (Digital Light Processing) into our crafting process. These advanced technologies allowed us to achieve precise details and superior quality in our products. By blending traditional craftsmanship with cutting-edge modern technology, we ensured that every product we created met our high standards.

They emphasised the importance of perseverance and learning from each challenge, reinforcing the idea that every obstacle was an opportunity for growth. Mid 2022
Built a Dedicated In-house Team For Production
At the start, we considered outsourcing the production of our products. We tried this approach but quickly realised that the quality did not meet our expectations. Quality is a non-negotiable aspect of our brand. Therefore, we decided to build our in-house team, despite knowing it would be challenging.
We had a small team of 5 to 10 employees, including designers and highly skilled artisans. Our initial struggles included hiring and training labourers. We hired 10 to 15 labourers who needed to be trained in the art of crafting high-quality products. Our designers and artisans dedicated significant time and effort to this training process, ensuring that every member of the team could meet our high standards.
Our first workplace was the basement of one of our founders' homes. The space was limited, and working conditions were far from ideal. We had to make do with what we had, often working long hours in a cramped environment. Despite these hardships, the basement became a place of learning and growth for our team. We refined our techniques and overcame numerous obstacles, all while maintaining our commitment to quality.
These early struggles shaped the foundation of the Artarium. The dedication and hard work of our team, along with the unwavering commitment to quality, allowed us to overcome these initial challenges. Building our in-house team proved to be a crucial decision, enabling us to maintain control over the production process and deliver products that truly represented our brand's values and vision.

The early days were challenging. Despite our rigorous efforts, the results were not in favour of us. However, we were determined to refine our processes and designs continuously. Our profound commitment to quality and innovation kept us going forward.

Breakthrough Moment
Finally, with strenuous efforts and dedication, we made a major breakthrough with the launch of our new product, “Bahubali Hanuman”. This product deeply touched everyone's heart. It quickly went viral across the country. The overwhelming response validated our hard work and marked the beginning of a new chapter for Artarium.

Late 2023
Meeting the Growing Demand
We launched several other products and started getting warm responses nationwide. To meet our rapidly increasing product demand, we expanded our team and moved to a larger space for both our warehouse and corporate office. Our team grew to around 100 employees in the corporate office and 40 - 50 artisans in the warehouse. Now, in our team, most artisans are women who received special training in crafting the products.
Women Empowerment
One of the core values at Artarium is empowering women. Many of the artisans in our warehouse team were only homemakers. In starting they did not have any knowledge of art and craft. We provided them with proper guidance and training from zero, which enabled them to craft beautiful products. Now, they are contributing to their family incomes. This initiative ensures high-quality craftsmanship and fosters a sense of community and empowerment among our team members.
Present Day
Today, the Artarium stands as a testament to resilience, innovation and the power of dreams. Our corporate office is a bustling hub of creativity and strategic planning. The dedicated team works tirelessly to take Artarium to the next level. At the warehouse, our artisans craft products day and night to meet the growing demands of our decor products.
